- Do I need a permit for a home addition?
- Almost always yes. We handle permit coordination and inspections as part of the project, and we'll explain what your jurisdiction across the Birmingham metro requires.
- Do you provide architectural or engineering plans?
- We coordinate with licensed architects and engineers when plans or stamped drawings are required. We do not provide those professional services directly unless explicitly confirmed in writing.
- How do you connect new construction to an existing home?
- Carefully. We match siding, roofing, trim, and interior finishes as closely as possible and address structural tie-ins, foundation transitions, and waterproofing so the addition blends in.
- Can you match my existing siding, brick, or roofing?
- We do our best to source matching or complementary materials. Some older materials may no longer be available, in which case we'll recommend the closest match or a complementary transition detail.
- Do you offer financing?
- We don't provide in-house financing. Many homeowners use home equity lines of credit, construction loans, or other lending options. We're happy to provide a written estimate you can take to a lender.
